Worst Victoria bust ever

I just picked up this unlisted 1837 Ascension to the Throne Medal , I have to say that the sculptor must have hated Victoria. These medals were probably confiscated and melted

Bronze 3.6gms 24 mm

Her majesty doesn't exactly look "gracious" there, does she?

Sad to say, that one might've been closer to reality than some of the coin portraits.

But I dunno- if some contemporary images are to be believed, she was quite pretty in her youth.

That one's a trip!

If you're gonna throw it, throw it this way. She might look like one of Cinderella's stepsisters there, but I like it.
