If you wish, I will take on the responsibility of accepting contributions towards a birth coin. Then, years from now, Jester will have this story to relate to Matthew and how it all came about.
I don't want to pick the coin, I would leave that up to a consensus decision. We are all usually a product of several countries bloodlines and I think it would be fun to find the perfect coin that historically ties it all together for him.

At this point we have 8 contributors and close to $80. I would love to see an accumulation of small ($1 and $2 and $3 contributions as well as the larger $10 goal per person. If things continue we can do this boy proud!

I will undertake to have created a scroll on nice parchment paper bearing the name of all the contributors, in the name of the forum, welcoming the young lad into the world and perhaps pre-ordaining a numismatist, even at this young age. Now if I can seperate my artistic son from the work on his forthcoming book to do the scroll, perhaps with a little inspired art, heck, that would make my day!
