Just wanted to give my sets a little attention. I am looking to sell these sets. I have really enjoyed these cards, however it is time for me to move on to something new.

I put the opening bid very close to SMR, I was really just testing the market, looking for offers. The break-up value on the 1982 set is probably close to the opening bid. The low pop ten's sell for $800 or more.

Thank you for the Link fix.

Dave , I think your best bet is to pull a few cards and sell them privately and replace them with 10's. You could recoup a bunch of money from those and then reduce the overall price to the point where someone may bite. the top 2 guys on 81 finished so the days of $1000 81 10's are unfortunately gone but there are a few needs that you could get really good money for to help move the rest of the sets if you really want to sell.

I am curious-how big is the market for golf cards? I remember that my local card shop had some at one time, but I have never met a collector. I was not even aware that there were golf sets on the registry.

Good luck with the sale-with that many tens it has to be a gorgeous set.

    packCollector,

You may be correct. Most of the interested buyer are only interested in a few cards rather than the complete sets. I figure I have two options, break up the sets and sell each card individually or auction them complete through a major auction house.

    Thanks for your imput.
