Just got results from GAi 3.5 '52 TMantle from PSA

I just looked at my submission status at PSA for the GAI 3.5 "52 topps Mantle card. It got a 4 from PSA. I knew it was a very nice card, but I was nervous about getting a 3 and losing the .5 on my card. Grading makes me nervous. ha. anyway, I'm glad I sent it in and now might even think of sending in the GAI 7. I know it's a crap shoot, but I really do think the GAI 7 can get a PSA 7. Just wanted to let you know how the grading went.

This is consistent with what I have found with crossing over GAI cards. GAI seems to judge lower grade cards (5 and less) more harshly.....I've had several 3.5's and 4.5's bump up, while PSA judges higher graded cards more severely.

Good to hear from you. I did not crack the Gai 3.5 out of the holder. I put that I would not accept less than a 3 from PSA and they gave me a 4. That way I would have gotten a PSA 3 or my card back like it was when I sent it in. Thanks for all you help.
