CSA TO PSA CROSSOVER

Hello,
I am searching for opinions. I have a 65 Topps Clemente that is slabbed with CSA 8 NMMT authentication. I know nothing about CSA and from what I've read recently the cards grade would drop a grade if I do the crossover. What is the opinon of you more experienced collectors. Is this something I should proceed with?

You might as well give it a shot, I dont think too many collectors value a card as a "true" 8 unless its in a PSA, SGC or maybe a Global holder. Good luck!

One other thing to add is it might be a good idea to send it to PSA to make sure the card has not been altered IE: trimmed or recolored, Im not familiar with CSA but they are not considered a "reputable" grading company by any stretch.

Current holder with hologram CSA are usually trimmed. Blue holder or clear with PSA like red/white flip are usually OK, but overgraded by .5 to 1.5 grades. Post a scan...

Jim: Those red/white flip cards are usually OK (untrimmed). Good luck - nice Clemente.

Scan it with the lid open (black background) next time - esp. with white bordered cards.
