fooling around with the camera

I posted the bland scanner pic from the Prussian proof coin the other day (the seller's pic), and tried to take photos of my own. the only thing i managed to do on this one is to highlight the smear that isn't very noticable in hand, wash out the cameo contrast (which is very obvious 'in hand') and make a mirrored mess of trying to photograph a proof coin. Anyway, the smear bugs me a bit, so this coin will be off to NCS for a bath and re-holdering.
1913-A Prussian 3 Mark, NGC PF65 Cameo

Here is a nice raw Crown that will go off to NGC soon. I'm kinda' anxious to get this one in, as i don't quite know what grade it will get. I can't find any dings to speak of, on the obverse or reverse. i think it will probably go MS65 or higher......darker tone on this one, but a nice strike and kinda' cool looking overall.

this one has to get re-slabbed, as the numerous scratches on the plastic makes it tough to photograph. The darker tone in areas is kinda' growing on me; i was originally thinking of having NCS remove it, but the original skin is kinda cool. 1851A Swiss 5 Francs, NGC AU58

i'll probably have Mark take some of his famous pics of the above stated coins after i have them slabbed/re-holdered. it will be funny to see how his images compare to my lackluster attempts at coin photography.
thanks for looking!
