Post an action shot from the 1974 Topps set.

I'm not very familiar with the set and would like to see some of the action cards. Thanks!

Also, feel free to post from the football set as well.

Card # 595 Steve Blass had one of the nicest action shots that I can remember as a teenager. Coupled with one of the worst pitching set of stats in major league history , it made it even more vivid in my grey matter.

If I knew how to post it I would.

Was the '74 set the one that featured Dave Kingman with all those ghosts in the stands?

That Kingman card reminded me of Munch's expressionist painting "Scream"

No problem. Had the stars handy.

Garvey is similar background as King King.

On the Palmer card you can understand how pitchers develope arm problems.

Seaver, Catfish and Reggie have always been faves from that set.

So I guess I shouldn't put off getting this set for too much longer then? The only problem is coming up with about $300-something for a nice NRMT/MT set. image
