Here are some factors to help you with your decision. Factor 1: She has been training for the last 5 months and just ran regularly for about a year prior to that. Factor 2: She has a cold.

Good Luck!

The cold is a major variable because it could cause a good runner to drop out of the running.
So, allowing for the cold factor I'm going to guess her time to be

    5:06:08
Tell her I wish her luck in the marathon.

I guess 5:00:00 flat. If you find any good shops in Cincinnati, let me know because I'm new to the area and don't know where any are yet.

I have to enter this one, I ran my 6th Boston Marathon and 12th overall last month.
It's quite common to have a cold the week before a marathon. It's happened to me several times, and it's not a big deal. Make sure she gets a good night's sleep tonight (Friday). If she's like most first time marathoners, she'll have a little trouble falling asleep Saturday night. Again, no big deal.

    I'll go with 4:48:23

I'll guess 3:45:20 , thanks for a chance at the coin.

Best of luck to your girlfriend! I will guess 4:49:54.

I live in a northern suburb of Cincinnati and the weather forecast calls for great weather for the race - mid to lower 50s at the start. I hope she did some hill training......the city of 7 hills can offer a challenge.

Darkside coin stores.....well......do not hold your breath. The only 2 stores I have visited in the area that periodically have material are Coins Plus in downtown on 6th street (I do not know if they hold Sat hours), and Main Street coins out in Fairfield (25-30 minutes from downtown). I understand there is a new coin store open in Hyde Park on Edwards street, but I have not visited yet. The guys at CoinsPlus in downtown are quite friendly and I have made many visits to their store on my lunch hour to chat. Brad is a periodic columnist for CoinWorld and very knowledgable about coins. If I am not mistaken, he has also called many of the big darkside auctions such as Long Beach. For darkside material, your best bet is the monthly show in Greenhills on the last Sunday of each month. There are usually 2 or 3 tables of darkside material. If you make it to the show, say hello to Tim Hunter in the table corner - great guy to talk with.

It would be nice to know how fast she runs in shorter races, how old she is, how she has trained over the last 5 months etc. But the cold is a huge factor so I'm guessing a little slower:

Wishing her the best of luck! I can't even fathom DRIVING 26 miles at one time!! image

I haven't the faintest idea of what her usualu times are, etc, so I will just give a W.A.G. (like all my estimates at work!) of 4:38:58

Have a great run, and do me proud, so I can be the proud papa of that piece of 8!!image
