any vatican gold experts out there?

Hi,

I purchased four proof gold coins while in Rome a couple of years ago. I have the 20 and 50 euro 2002-dated coins with the likeness of the late John Paul II. I also have the 50 euro 2003 and gave the 20 euro 2003 to my newborn nephew.

I wonder if anyone knows the values of these coins. I paid 2000euro for the 2002 set and 950euro for the 2003 set.

ebay.it has a 2003 gold set at a BIN price of 959 euro altho there doesn't seem much interest at that price. Of course the euro is worth much more in $ now than when you bought the set.

Don't see a 2002 set at the moment. The Vatican euro sets have been highly speculated in and it'll be interesting to see how the price holds up over time.
