My Friday trip to BBCE

So - It finally worked out that I could use a whole Friday afternoon to drive up to BBCE for my first time (3 hours away) and go crazy. I had visions of a smaller, more compact suite setting. Oops! Their warehouse was like a wet dream. Aisles of anything and everything. I could've spent a whole weekend just milling around and checking everything out. I went up there with an idea of what I wanted, but I left with wayyy more than intended. Steve and the staff were really nice and knowledgable. The long-haired fellow (whos name eludes me, as do most) was extremely helpful. So after about 90 minutes, I had what I wanted. Here's a partial list of what I nabbed:

1979 Topps Rack Pack (6)
1981 Topps Rack Box
1983 Topps Rack Box
1984 Topps Rack Box (2)
1981 Topps BSK East Box (Clean as the day it was made)

And a bunch of less interesting stuff. It's going to be a long weekend of ripping. I've done the '81 so far and I've got a ton of Mint & Centered cards. Anybody else trek to BBCE before?

    Wow, Sounds like a pack rippers Christmas Store. I'd have to leave my wallet ( credit cards )
    at home and just take enough cash to buy what I went there for. If I had a credit card with me
    I'd max it out for sure!!! Let's see some scan when you get a chance.

    other than the 81 east, what were the other sports?

    did you pick out the boxes yourself?

    Oh - All Baseball. Picking the boxes. Sort of. I mean I walked though and saw what I wanted, but didn't choose between other examples because a lot of them were the last ones. I'm not sure on policy, but I think you can point and choose but obviously not check between what's offered in box a or b. Didn't choose the '79 racks. However, I did select the '81 BSK box. Man it looks sweet. Considering busting that tonight.
