    What I send them back is that I will buy it at 1 bid increment above the bidder below me. Thats the only way I ever take a second chance offer. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

    look at the original winner and see how many other of this person's listings they have bid on. this may tell you if a shill bidder won by accident.

    Interesting - the seller bought the card on 2/12 for $250 from Homeplatecards. Why would you turn around and sell it a week later?

    How can I tell what other auctions the winner has bid on?

    and there is no record of the sale.
