how long?

how long do you wait for either a buyer to use the ebay checkout system or receive payment for an item before filing a NP claim if you specify clearly in your product description the payment due date, e.g. 7 days after auction closes?

When payment is not made within 10-days, I send
a reminder. 14-days, another reminder.
After 3-weeks, if no contact is made, I send another
email. I would file a NPB sometime bewteen 21 and 30-days.
In the summer, I wait until close to a month to file, because
I have had numerous folks go on vacation and simply forget to
pay b4 they left.
Non-payment has never been a problem for me. PayPal
is the only payment method I accept on EBAY. Once I lure
a buyer off-EBAY, they can pay however they want to.

That is how long it takes most of my buyers to pay.

Didtheyreadit.com lets me know when the buyer opens the email, and also if they read it or had the email opened for longer then 30 seconds.
If I don't get a reply to that email within 72 hrs. I will go ahead and file the Non payment claim.
I always email the buyer again, before filing the NPB.
That service costs $50.00 a year, though, doesn't it? For me, personally, I don't care if the buyer reads my e-mail or not. If he/she doesn't respond to my 10-day reminder by the 14th day, I just file the NPB and move on.

I got a deal several years ago and it's only 24.99 for my renewal fee.
I use it a lot for my job and it has saved me big time.
