Can someone make me a list of all the Topps football sets' Beckett values and number of cards in eac

I'm thinking about perhaps starting a run of Topps football sets (I had always been a baseball-only collector but I think the 1980s sets look kinda interesting) once my main baseball card projects are completed (this is probably gonna be several months away, BTW) and I just want to get an idea of what to expect in terms of value and number of cards in each set. So, if anyone here with a current monthly or annual football Beckett could post a list of all the Topps football sets' values and number of cards in each set, I'd sure appreciate it. I want to get an idea of what to expect in terms of how much the sets are worth. I most likely will want to start with 1985-90, as they are by far the most affordable 1980s sets (1984 is the most expensive since it has BOTH the Elway and Marino RCs), and 1991 is when they (unfortunately) stopped having a distinctive design for their football cards and just copied over the baseball design with a slight facelift.

Also, are the football sets rarer than the baseball ones (since in the 1980s especially there were not nearly as many football collectors as baseball) or are they about the same? I know the football sets are much smaller so thankfully I won't need as many binders/pages. image

Go to Beckett, pay the $5 for 1 month, copy/paste every set into excel, and you're done.

Any other way would be just too easy.

You can do it yourself by looking in the PSA Set Registries. Most, if not all, Topps sets have a yearly entry. In there, it would tell you how many cards are needed for each...

do the work yourself. go to ebay, search under the sets category for completed auctions and type in the year you are looking for, it takes less time than all these posts asking for someone to do the work for you

Could someone list every card made by Topps from 1951-present, with all players in each set organized by their weight in descending order, followed by Beckett, Tuff Stuff and SMR values of each card in every condition? Thanks.

It sounds like what you're looking for is a Beckett Football Monthly. Those are fairly cheap.

Yes, Topps printed football cards in smaller quantities than baseball. I don't know by what margin for the 1980's, since Topps is a little embarassed about releasing mintage figures. Maybe they did somewhere and I missed it though.

some of these posts like this drive me nuts. whats the pop report say about x card. well pay for the info like those of us that have do. a beckett is what $6. I know you can buy the larger Beckett football for around $9. I just did a few weeks ago. I buy one a year usually. If you want me to scan them and send them to you, you will have to pay me my hourly rate of my day to day job. Or better yet go to the library many carry becketts.

    Estil,

If you go out and buy the annual guides, they list every card in all the sets. Drewsef, hit it right on the head, do an ebay search under completed sales for these sets. This is how I do my research.

Go into advanced search, enter in the appropriate set and check completed listings only. This will give you a pretty good idea what the football market is like.

Football sets are indeed rarer, but keep in mind that is like saying the last name Jones is rarer than Smith.

  • Could somebody email me a list of all businesses in the Baltimore area along with their phone numbers and addresses? I have no idea where I can find this info.
