My first sub, finally pops!

I'm very pleased with the results! No 10x laupe, just the old eyeball (must explain the 7). The Barry Collas really excited me. I have about 10 raw sets, and these 2 are the only ones worth sending in out of all 100 cards!!

    Damn good eye for a first time submitter!!! Hats off to ya!
    Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    Thanks! It makes me feel REAL good about the 100 card sub I have in under the Dec. special, they were all sharper cards than this sub, IMO. Does anybody know how long it takes for them to show up in the pop reports, and how soon I can add them to my set?

    if they are already part of the set it takes about a day for the cert/spec numbers to be loaded in before you can add the cards. i am not sure how long it takes for the pop reports to change.

    Pop reports get updated every week or so--look on the top of the page and it should give you the last updated date. Once the cert is live in the system (not sure how long it takes) you can add it

    I can usually add the certs to the registery about 9 or 10 pm (central) the day the sub pops.

    I had no idea that PSA would grade Barry Colla cards.

    Yeah its great with the 1987, with it being a rookie set. The pops are real low because the sets are hard to find, and even if you do find 1 for sale, they never usually get submitted because they'll grade 7-8 at best. Myself and a couple other of the McGwire set owners I know have a decent amount of these raw, just never anything good to send in.
