  No coins yet, but I did get a small, complete tombac button yesterday. I'm sure my first coin will be a stinkin' Lincoln.

  I hauled in a few coins yesterday the 4th, first find of the year was a corroded zincoln, haven't even totaled it up yet-probably less than 50cents, the ground was frozen at the top layer for the first time this season- to my surprise when my digger bounced back. Must have been the couple inches of snow and the cold nights- the snow is gone but not all the frost.

  Mine was a 2001 nickel. I got a garrett ace for my birthday a few months ago and its paying off bigtime

  Hey first time here.
  I metal detect with a Garrett 1500. Went out the other day got a new york qtr, missouri qtr and a 1959d lincoln.
