Show at Slugger Museum...

Hello all! I went to the card show at the Louisville Slugger Museum today. It was alright. I took a buddy of mine who's just recently come back into the hobby with my much convincing. He didn't buy anything, but I bought a 1992 Jeter Draft Pick card that I've been eye balling since July of 05 and a hobby box of 06 Turkey Reds which I am now formally addicted to. There were only about 10 tables there. It seemed like it was mostly inventory people were trying to move. I miss the old days of big shows and exciting fanfare. So, after a little bit of dissappointment I went to my favorite card shop here in town. I walked away pretty happy from there. Oh, did I mentioned that I pulled a Duke Snider Cabinet card from my Turkey Reds?! That was the highlight of the day. And also my introduction to HomeTown Buffet. All you can eat for 8 bucks. Not bad. Just thought I'd share.

Congrats to a fellow Indians fan on your Snider pull and on the discovery of Home Town Buffet. I am also a fan of Ryans and Golden Corral,
two other establishments where I often overeat. And between the Turkey Reds and Allen & Ginter I probably overspend on cards as well.
