Dansco style albums for Canadian coins

Does anyone know why Dansco does not make albums for Canadian coins? They make them for Irish and Australian coins, so why not Canadian?--I really do not like the Gardmaster type albums and would like to find Dansco style albums for current Canadian coins. Even Whitman bookshelf style albums would suffice. Say for coins from 1953 to date. I have most of the coins but i am waiting for the right albums to come along.

See if you can find an address or phone number for Chief Coin Supply. I don't think they're online.

A SASE will get you a copy of their "For Sale" list. The carry a lot of discontinued Whitman albums.

I checked with Randy last week and it seems he's out image
    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

Out of folders, out of town, or out of business? I hope it's not the last option! He's been really helpful for me in the past!

Dansco will have a full line of Canadian albums out later this year. Should be cent, nickel, dime, quarter, half, dollar and typeset.

They would have been out by now except they had to rush to get the President dollar albums ready.

  • Has anyone heard an updated ETA for the Dansco Canadian albums? I have searched all over but see nothing.

    Thanks,

Whitman Publishing is coming out with a new line of folders for Canadian coins.

  • Is anyone else patiently waiting for Dansco to make Canadian albums?

Does anyone have any info on when these may be available? I have been hearing "within a year" for several years now. Is there any way to contact Dansco direct? Can't seem to find a web site.

I have a Dansco album for Canadian silver dollars from 1935 to 1972. I found an additional page that has spaces for nickel and silver dollars through 1978, and I also added blank page for silver dollars that takes me up to 1992. I'd life to get printed pages to take me up to date.

I'd also like to get Dansco albums for nickel and steel 5 cent pieces from 1968 to present (I already have the Library of Coins album for 5 cent pieces from 1858-1962 with some extra blank spaces).

Dansco! Get cracking and make those albums!!!! My new Whitman folders aren't proper housing for my PL coins. image

[sarcasm]Dansco will have a full line of Canadian albums out later this year. Should be cent, nickel, dime, quarter, half, dollar and typeset.

They would have been out by now except they had to rush to get the Native American dollar albums ready.[sarcasm]

Still waiting...................................... a now 4 1/2 year old thread. Any more info on Dansco Canadian albums coming? -notice that the post above is from Jan-2009. Or did they change their minds? I have found old Whitman Bookshelf albums for the quarters and halves but am still looking for the 10 cent, 5 cent and one cent albums. Loonie and twoonie albums would be great also. Then i could collect "looney tunes".image
