Results Of A Misc Pack Break And 06 Turkey Red Blaster Box With Scans

Went out for the day yesterday and visited the Marden's discount store and found a couple of things.

I have bought misc boxes like this before and never expect much other than the thrill of opening up some odd packs that I don't have any cards of. The Turkey Red was something I had been putting off buying but at the price they had on these I couldn't resist.

Will put up scans of all of the packs in the misc box and what was in them including the bonus items. The Turkey Reds, I will just list the results.

So here are the packs.

$11.99 for the Turkey Red box???

That would be hard for any of us to turn down.

Best of luck on the rest of the packs.

Anyone else thinking of Barry Bonds when they see these cards???
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

I was actually shocked at the price as well because when this store gets any cards in stock (Which is rarely) they usually have garbage that is overpriced. It was actually funny as they had these (And a few boxes of football cards) locked in a glass case. Asked a cashier if I could get a few things and that was no problem but they wouldn't let anyone take them and put them in their cart and wanted to keep them at the courtesy desk. No problem as I know how some would just find a nice corner of the store and rip into them and take what they wanted and leave the rest. So we shopped for awhile and proceeded to the checkout where my wife than went over to get the cards and they would not allow her to take the boxes from the desk to the checkout (Distance of no more than 20 feet). They had one of the cashiers bring them and all I could think of is they should have an armed guard as they were treating these like they were gold or something.image

    1998 Pinnacle Plus

These were the WORST as they are one of those products that stick together in the pack. All ended up with damage so this would be one of those that I wouldn't buy a full box of.

Never is it a common card that seems to take the beating in a pack.

It's kinda hard to see in the scans but it looks like a machine did the damage. But it was fun opening up something that I had none of. image
