Any interest in a 1984 FB wax case Break?

Case is $8000. Breaks down to $400 a box and $11.11/pack, both of which are great prices. The boxes are NOT "X"ed.

LMK if there is interest and if so, I'll start taking names for 6-pack lots again. I'm thinking you could get 6 packs for around $72 w/paypal costs and shipping. So that would still break out to $12/pack delivered, which I still think is a great prcie.


Thoughts? Interest? GFM?

    So how many cards in the set? How many cards per box? Could one expect to build a set breaking the box? Anyone break a box recently?

    396 cards in the set and 15 cards per pack. Each 6 pack lot would yield 90 cards and a box would yield 450 cards. I would think you would get close to a set on a full wax box, but DOUBT you would get the set. The coalation just isn't that good. But hey, you could get doubles of Marino or Elway...

    In the "Football of the '80s" rippin' I think that we had two Elways and a Marino in our box. I think there might've even been three Elways, can't remember right now.

    I didnt start buying boxes of football when I was a kid until 86 and 87. If I recall correctly, I would get about a set a box. So for $400 you will probably get at least one of Marino and Elway. Now will the be OC or great who knows. But I would feel safe thinking I would get one of each.

    If anyone has ungraded 1970s Topps or Fleer Vikings cards in Mint PSA 9 condition that they do not plan to send in for grading, please let me know. Will pay money and provide a kicker amount back after grades come back in. I can provide list of what I need.

    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
