Van Nuys Airtel Show Report

I stopped in during the last two hours of this show and I still wonder how much longer it will last. Brandon Wood was signing and he seemed to be by himself for the second half of the show. I was expecting a bigger crowd since the autos were only $15 and he is supposed to be a decent power hitting prospect.
The same dealers selling the same overpriced stuff. There are two decent vintage dealers there, but the prices weren't even close to what I can get on ebay. One of them did have a decent selection of raw 1955 Topps AA FB, but I didn't have my wantlist handy. There is a guy that has a decent selection of modern graded card at OK prices. I was going to buy a few of his graded Tigers rookies, but he seemed more interested in buying some autos from a kid.
I was able to get a case of 1987 Fleer Rack BB (24 racks) and a 3 1982 racks with stars on top (1 Reggie, 2 Yaz) for $110. Not a bad find.
The next show is Dec. 3. I will probably waste another day there.

Who were the dealers with vintage? Was Paul one of them (the friendly guy that always has lots of cheap pre war beaters at HP?)
Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
There was one table that had a ton of graded vintage but there was only an older lady reading book behind the table. She didn't seem to interested. However she did ask one of the other dealers for a SMR.
