Did a thread go *poof*, I can't find it??

I replied to a thread about election results this morning and now it seems to be gone, or I'm just dumb and can't find it.

Starting to wonder if politics are off topic.

If a thread falls in the woods and no one is there to reply to it, did it ever really fall?

The thread title mentioned 'erection' instead of 'election' - wonder if that did it??

LOL, what I meant to say was taboo. I realize it's OT Lost, thanks. image

The thread was nearly two pages long when I replied, just curious as to why it got booted or what was said or I just can't find it.

I didn't read any of the thread......so tell me:

How did the recent elections affect sports cards and memorabilia?

Negatively. Capital gains taxes on the sale of long term card collections are expected to rise
    Topps Baseball-1948, 1951 to 2017
    Bowman Baseball -1948-1955
    Fleer Baseball-1923, 1959-2007

I think the mods are just doing their job.

We all know these are "OF" or OT type stuff which they would rather we not talk about here.

I made a thread called B*tch Bytes and called it OT central - gone.

Only fair - I think my OT days are numbered.

Tho I have to say - I AM HAVING ONE OF THE WORST TWO WEEKS IN RECENT MEMORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lost, more than likely it didn't.

But it's nice to have an OCCASSIONAL OT thread instead of the same old "I didn't get feedback" "Who leaves feedback first" "I got screwed on ebay" "Let's report this 1 of 1 auction that's not 1 of 1", etc. etc.

As long as it's posted as OT, then you have the chance to read or disregard.

Doesn't matter to me if it's a topic about poker, where we live, what are jobs are, posting a picture of ourselves, how our cat spilled a drink on our cards, or asking lawnmowerman when the best time of year to cut grass is (all recent topics, and not related to sportscards)

As a matter of fact, it's these posts that make me feel like I know you guys better than I actually do.

Surely friends can talk about more than just sportscards??

NO!! not according to CU or Lostdart.. CU removed the open forum because they hate OT threads and message board traffic..

www.popforum.net <--- the new open forum..

my thread from yesterday went poof as well. just because it said ot: i think was the reason. i mentioned posting from work on my mower and even complained about an ebay purchase that went wrong but it still disappeared. surely crying about ebay is permitted image
