Old School Raiders Images & Cincinnati Reds FRESH!!!

I've listed a handful of late 60's and early 70's Oakland Raiders. I have a really deep collection of original Raiders slides that I'm just getting to these days. The old school silver & black--very cool!

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

I am a collector of vintage & original film. I specialize in 35mm slides and b&w negative strips from the 70's. I work very hard, believe it or not, contacting various organizations and photographers and negotiate the purchase of these items and offer a limited number of copies to help recoup the costs. I never fully recoup the cost of some of the really high-end stuff, but the original films hold their value and even appreciate much like a sportscard.
I also do quite a bit of Americana. I love sports, but it only makes up 60% of my collection. Everything I show here is available in varous sizes (although some MAY be sold out).

Kodak stopped making the BEST projectors a couple of years ago. Vivatar makes a nice 5000 series for about half the cost of the old Kodaks. Not as sturdy, but serviceable. You should expect to spend about 250 bucks for a quality projector to view family slides, etc.
Web Site? No. Too expensive for now. I almost had one this summer, but the cost just blew up on me. I want to do it right. I do welcome emails at
oldschool.images@yahoo.com
I always try to answer them timely and follow through on any reasonable requests...
UNREASONABLE: do u have any wsox? how much? scans? thx
Response by OSI: Jerk. What a freakin' moron!...delete.
REASONABLE: Hello. I am a Pirate fan. I like the 70's and 80's as I grew up in Pittsburgh. My favorite players are Omar Moreno and Rennie Stennett.
Would you have any images of those two guys or any other Pirates from that era? How much are the prints and what sizes are available? Also, do you accept checks. Thanks for your time,
Bob
Typical Response by OSI: Bob, you bet! we have Pirates. Please take a few minutes and think about what players you would like to select and I will try to get some images for you to sample. Your check is always welcome. Here is a list of sizes and pricing information as well as the players you requested:
Full-Frame 35mm
4x6 @ 7.00
8x12 @ 15.00
10x15 @ 22.00 (Recommended)
12x18 @ 30.00 (Recommended)
16x24 @ 40.00
20x30 @ 50.00
Cropped Top to Bottom
5x7 @ 8.00
8x10 @ 15.00
11x14 @ 22.00
16x20 @ 38.00
*We offer framing as well for all prints. Prices range from $10 to $40 depending on image size. We don't make money on our frames. We understand that full-frame looks nicer, but is harder to find frames for...so we do it for you. We charge you what the frames cost plus additional shipping based on weight. Period.
All prices are for delivered prints. Sizes up to 12x18 are shipped flat. Larger is shipped in cylinder.
We also offer the following paper selections: Lustre Archival, Matte, Glossy, Pebble, Linen, Embassy and canvas. We can include samples upon request with your first order for future reference. If no paper is specified, we use Matte on all Black & White's as well as all 4x6's. For everything else we use professional Lustre-Archival paper. It is gallery-quality and looks fantastic. We DO NOT recommend glossy as it really looks cheap when used on photos of this caliber. We currently are doing everything print-wise in a professional lab and are very fussy about quality control. Your order WILL NOT ship until I inspect it personally and compare it to the original file. Adjustments may delay shipping by 3-5 business days and we will contact you if such adjustments are needed. You should expect to wait 10 business days from receipt of payment for your order as all images are printed by request. Please send me a list of any other players you may have interest in and let me know if you would like these two images. We submit files on Tuesdays so a timely response may speed up your order quite a bit. We ship on Fridays & Saturdays.
* The Moreno has acceptional color and contrast. The Stennett is very warm and has a lot of detail to look at.
Bears? Yes! Many many many! Very few cleaned and scanned, however. I'll get to those next week and share some with you guys in November or early December. I'm doing Cincinnati Reds, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and football specialty right now. Bears, Bulls, more Giants and Mets are coming up!
Some Reds...

These will be a bit pricey if folks want 'em as they didn't come cheap to buy. They were still in the original envelopes last month when I bought them. There have been NO prints of these and they are as fresh as it gets. The photographer sent what he needed to The Sporting News and Baseball Digest and never even got to these. What a gem of a find. It's like one of you guys "stumbling" across a box of 1957 topps cards in a basement of an antique store while on vacation in some remote area. I'm like a kid in a candy store with these. These are still virgins! Anyone want to step up? Anyway, they are really high-end in terms of content and quality. These would look INSANE 10x15 in a plain black wood frame right next to each-other on a wall...how about with some gold or silver sharpie??? Old School!!!

Do you have a date for it? Seeing Rennie in the mustard hat, at Wrigley...sets my mind's wheels to turning.
