Some guy trying to rip me off? Title edited

Won this card back on August 26th and paid instantly when the auction finished. Seller and I both have perfect feedback so I'm expecting a perfect/smooth transaction. To this date I have not received the card and I have sent emails inquiring about it. He never responds. I file a complaint and now I have an email from Paypal stating that he has submitted a tracking #. Here's the funny thing. The tracking # given is RT858239238CA and if you go the Canada Post (if link doesn't work, try http://www.canadapost.ca/splash.asp) and enter it under item # after you press "english", it shows that it was delivered on 6/13/06. Is this guy psychic and knew I was going to win the item 1 1/2 month later that he decides to ship it early? Doh! I sent Paypal an email, since I can't post anything else (message) since it's now a complaint instead of a dispute. I don't want to leave him a negative, but I wonder why he never responded to me personally and just do this. What would you do? I think it's kind of funny trying to provide a fake tracking # and I hope Paypal catches this.

If not, why not?
How expensive an item are we talking about here?
Maybe he gave you the wrong tracking number
in error. (I did that once.)
Sounds like lost mail, but PayPal will catch the
tracking number. At least they did on mine.

I have been ripped off from more American sellers. Maybe because i do more transactions with US sellers.

LOL at calling someone ignorant but not knowing the difference between "there" and "their"...
Steve and our other friends up North....my apologies. I'll just say some meanie from
up North then.
I just wonder why he never responded to my emails and I had to file a dispute.
I'm giving him time to resolve this because his feedback is clean which is kind
of strange. It is possible he provided the wrong tracking #, and I'll give him
the benefit of doubt for now. I guess I'll have to look up his contact info.
Dang it, that means more $ for me to call him
<< <i>Sorry gang, didn't mean to make it sound like Canadians are evil....my bad. >>

Anyway's i know you really did not mean anything from your post. Just been one of those days !!
