Vann Williford

Played pro for a while. I bought his card off of eBay for no more than $2, then I went and had it autographed. He lives in town, so he was glad to sign it. He signed it using the jersey number he had from a future team, instead of the number on the jersey on the card. Would this decrease the value? Also, what might it be worth now? I can provide a picture if you like. Thanks!

The abrasions are both on the scanner and the hard plastic case the card is in. They are not on the card itself.

  • Its odd he wrote 14 and his uniform shows 15. Maybe he forgot?
  • Funny Story-I requested a free B/W autograph pic from Peoples Court Marilyn Milian. It said To Donovan and then she crossed out my name. It didnt have her sig or anything, just my crossed out name.

He played for the Carolina Cougars for only a few years, and there he was #15. He then went and played with the Suns I believe for 10 years and there he was #14. I guess he just got used to signing it with the number 14 instead of 15. Even if its not valuable, it's sentimental to me at least.
