Barry Sanders Dream Team Autograph...

Once again I have a question. Seems like there are so many considering I've had no one to talk to about this subject ever. I have a 1991 Barry Sanders Dream Team Autograph card that Beckett says is worth $120. The guy at the store said it was fake and tried to buy it from me. Obviously I didn't fall for that. I've seen them only go for $10-$20 on Ebay. How do I find out what the value of this really is? I don't really collect football cards, but it was sent to me as a mistake from an Ebay purchase. Lucky me.

If it was sent as a mistake to you, why didn't you return the card?

  • Because I tried to contact the seller for weeks with no response to let them know that I had received the wrong card. After about a month I heard from them and they had already resold what I had paid for. So, I was given the choice of keeping the card or getting a refund. I picked to keep the card.

  • that card has two versions.

the regular version...which has a black facsimile "autograph" on the back...and is worth about a buck

and the authentic autograph version...which has a gold signature on the front and a seal pressed into the card...and is worth 120

people often try to pass the regular card off as the autograph version, since it has the facsimile on the back
  • Thank you so much! Finally an answer to my question about this card! I thought I was sitting on something and turns out I'm not. Dissappointed, but happy to know the truth now. Thank you so much.
