Before I post any of my VERY humble tickets, I want to
ask if anyone knows whether or not this ticket is genuine.

    August 9, 2002. Bonds hit #600.

On that day, the scanners that usually scan the tickets -
instead of ripping them - were allegedly down. This is
alleged to be a ripped "ticket takers portion."

    True or not true?

I've got that stub as well. Although mine looks a bit different it's just the stub as well.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

Cool. Don't get to show these off very often.

Anyway, in order from top to bottom, Roger Clemens:

    storm888,

True... I'm a Season Ticket Holder (for the past 11 years) and attended the game, power was out and the ticket takers removed the stub like the old days (usually the ticket is scanned and remains a full ticket). If you have a "600" stamp on reverse, the ticket was redemed for a special pin (same for 660, but not 700).

Figured you guys would get a kick out of this one. Unfortunately, I was staying at the Iowa hotel and had Drew Tate sign the stub after threw the hail mary in the Capital One Bowl two years ago....note what that D-bag wrote.

Here are some from games I've attended...

Tom Seaver's first game pitching at Shea as a member of the Reds. I love Mr. Met

Cal Ripken's last game. It was a make up from the week of games cancelled for 9/11

Here is my one PSA graded ticket. It came with a program I bought a long time ago. I decided to get it encapsulated. I think these World Series tickets make great collectibles. A potential project for me as I move away from cards and on to other stuff.

Anybody remember the big 1993 brawl between Seattle and Baltimore at Camden Yard. The wife and I happened to be attending our first major league game on this day. We had a decent view from the right field nose bleed seats.

As best as I can remember, Mike Mussina hit Bill Hasselman in retaliation for Chris Boisio hitting, I think Harold Baines. Hasselman charged the mound and a 20 minute melee broke out. I remember the big talk was that Cal Ripken twisted his knee in the brawl and it was swolen. His streak was somewhere in the 1,700's at the time. I also remember that Boisio hurt his shoulder in the brawl and had to go to the DL. He never seemed to be the same after that.

Hopefully my recount of the brawl is accurate, I'm sure there's articles all about it to be found on the internet.

    These are four consecutive day
tickets for a Hawaii Islanders, road game,
    May 1987. Tacoma Washington.

The person that bought these tickets, got sick
and could not attend any of the games.

Tony Gwynn used to play for the Islanders.

    Islanders long gone.
