'55 all american question!! Error card value

I know the SMR is off base on a lot of cards, that's not my point here.

The #21 Whizzer White error card in this set is considered tough to come by.

How rare is this card?? I'm trying to buy only PSA 6's for this set, but saw this one in a 5. SMR is $65 for a 5 and thought I'd pull the trigger if it came in around $40 or $50.

But then this one ended.

I haven't followed this card any, but realize it must be a hot commodity.

Anyone bought one of these for closer to SMR? How rare is it?

    I think you paid commensurate with the current market. I paid just under $400 about 18 months ago for my White wrong-back in PSA 5 -- a weak 5 at that. So at least the market has leveled out in the mid-grades.
