What would you be looking to pay now for a common date MS 63 and/or MS 64 morgan dollar?

Positive BST as a seller: Namvet69, Lordmarcovan, Bigjpst, Soldi, mustanggt, CoinHoader, moursund, SufinxHi, al410, JWP

    I'd be "looking" to pay as little as possible. But if I were strongly pursuing generic slabbed Morgans, I'd say about $35-$40 in 63 and maybe $50ish in 64.

    For common dates, I want uncommon eye appeal- so I would ignore common date pricing, and look for examples that have great PL qualities or attractive toning....

    Good Luck- let me know where those 64's arre at- I'd like to buy about a 100 @ 50 bucks each.

    On ebay, common dates currently go for $30-40 in MS63 and $40-55 in MS64. If you're patient, you can pick up nice ones at the bottom end of these ranges.

    On a sight unseen basis today I would pay for PCGS and NGC graded examples for quantities up to 50 coins:

    MS63: $34

    MS64: $47

    I agree, about $50 is the going rate for MS64 Morgans right now. I also agree with looking for uncommon eye appeal, but then you'll usually have to pay more too.

    Look at the PCGS daily price guide- knock 1/3 off whatever they show and thats the most you should pay for a common date!

    The date means little to me. Some of the rarest and most interesting varieties (VAMs) are among the most common dates.

    at the local 'live' auctions, the buyers are at about $25 for a MS63 common morgan. No more than $30. RAW. i would only be in at $20, RAW.

    I just sold a couple common PCGS MS64 Morgans on ebay. Both sold for about $53.
