    Ryan,
    I like Alternative music as well but my absolute favorite band is "Live", Some of you's who don't know of them might know the song "Lightning Crashes" or "I Alone" they also did the song "Overcome" pertaining to the 9/11 tragedy.

    Strange thing about Live...they were pretty much the greatest band in the world when they put out "Mental jewelry" and "Throwing Copper" (2 flawless CDs) then they just kind of vanished.

    i grew up in the early to mid-eighties listening to rap/hip hop and have loved it ever since..i do like every type of music though..its good to like a variety of different music..hey taylor28jag, what part of jersey are you from..i've lived in new brunswick, lakewood and now toms river

    They're still great just aren't as mainstream like before,They've released 3 more albums since Throwing Copper. One of the greatest Live performances you'll see is LIVE in concert.

    im not cracking on anyones choice of music but how do you understand some of those rap songs. i see people singing along with the song and i dont hear any words just a bunch of fast words that sounds like one long word. do you have to listen to it really hard or do you get the words for the song

    my opinions:

    most rap sucks except underground also Dre, Pastor Troy, Nate Dogg are good. I cant stand Ja Rule, he doesn't rap just shout.
    Most mainstream punk ISNT punk. Blink 182 is terrible!
    All those bands like Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park also SUCK! They were good when they weren't famous but they altered their styles, basically they sold out tot eh money, and the SUCK, SUCK, SUCK!!
    If you want some "hard rock" listen to some old school SEPULTRA!!

    But basically, BRUCE IS THE KING!
    Looking for High-End Football Cards.

    LOL I still dig Snow anybody remember him???...I also listen to Allen Iverson's unreleased CD alot...As well as Outkast,JayZ,Linkin Park,Ja Rule (although radio is making me sick of him) also dig stuff like Janet Jackson,R&B some rock stuff but not much...Not much at all lol

    U2 is like REM...they were a great band about 10 years ago, when they actually gave a damn about their music and not being self-righteous political twits. It's a sahme about both bands, there last few albums have been CRAP
