Back from ANA Summer Camp

Just got back from my annual two weeks of "coin camp" at ANA headquarters in Colorado Springs. I took Advanced Coin Grading (for the fifth time) during the first week and Civil War Numismatics the second week. Along the way had a great time re-connecting with old friends and spending two days at the Colorado Springs Coin Show, which this year was bigger and better than ever. Bought a nice 1790 Mexican Pilar Dollar, which unfortunately only lasted about four hours in my possesion before another dealer talked me into parting with it
. Also scored a lot of tokens (including a few choice Conders) from Gresham's Law. There was some discussion by the ANA staff of cutting the session down to one week next year, but the uproar created by the membership quickly put that idea to bed
. All in all, it was a great experience which I heartily endorse to anyone that is considering for next year.
