Gold buffalo bullion same price as the AGE?

Do people know if the mint will charge the same 3% premium for the buffalo than they do for the Eagle?

It's been confirmed that the proof version will sell for $800 (at least for now).

I'm not talking about the proof. If you had read the question, that would have been perfectly clear...

Your question was answered for you yesterday. Was another thread on the topic really necessary?

Not that I can find. My question here is very specific: "Is the Mint selling the bullion at the same price they sell the AGE to the dealers, i.e., 3% over melt for the 1 oz."

From today's USAToday: "The Mint will base its price for this coin on the market price of gold and a premium of about 3%; other markups in the distribution chain are expected to push the final sales price to about 5% to 7.5% above the market gold price."

That looks like an unnecessarily rude reply to those who were trying to help.

the original question didn`t specify proof or buisness strike. no reason to talk down to us.

I'm sorry for the rudeness, that was inexcusable and I apologize.

With this said, I get really tired of people who jump into a thread without reading the question. The body of the question ("...if the mint will charge the same 3% premium...") made it clear that I was talking about bullion.

Contrary to what Mark says, the answers were *not* trying to help. There's a weird dynamic in on-line forums where people feel the need to contribute even when they don't have anything to say that relates to the specific subject. It's not specific to this board btw.
