1980 topps too truly too condition sensitive to chipping and such, so if you rip don't expect much in terms of gradeable(s).

My vote goes for 85 Topps, I've ripped a bus load of it and have had better luck with it than anything. Plus the fact that there are two cards that could sale for $500 or more IF they are gem.

Since the 1980 topps are in rack packs and not wax, I say go for them. To pull a 10 Ryan or Henderson would be too cool.

My vote is for the 85' Topps. I hope the Clemens are plentiful and mint! Goodluck and have fun!
  • i voted for the 93 sp football for purely unselfish reasons...

ps - will you sell me any montanas you might pull?

I just busted a box of 93 SP FB, and trust me, that's not what you want to go for. The 85 Topps is your best bet for value.

What issues did you have with the '93 SP FB? Where the foil cards next to impossible to pull in mint?

They're worse than next next to impossible. Let's put it this way- there are 3 Bettis PSA 10's in the population. The cards are so condition sensitive (non-foil included) that I couldn't even get them into the cardsavers without some corners flaking. Didn't get a Bettis either but I guess that's just bad luck.
