Does anyone know what this is? It's dated 1663.

My hubby gave it to me a year or so ago (presumably off ebay), because it has a gryphon on it. Can anyone shed some light? My photos' color are a bit off, in real life it's more on the chocolatey side.

    Cathy, take a look at this website.

    On item # MJE426, it has some letters as on yours. (his ¡¤ tvta ¡¤ svb ¡¤alis ¡¤ 1663)

    I like the repunches on some of the letters.
