1978 Topps PSA 10's--- what are they going for?

I am not a collector of this set but noticed about a dozen or so PSA 10's listed with a 22.00 buy it now on ebay. Isn't this fairly cheap or have the prices dropped this much? Just curious.

    Depends on who it is. Stars will usually bring more than commons unless it's a tough low pop common. The 78 set is a popular one so a lot of cards have been graded. Supply and demand I guess.

    I was an underbidder on a common a week or two ago that sold for $8.13
    I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    THAT is a cheap price for ANY 78 PSA 10 common. I have been watching them for 2 years now and that IS A CHEAP PRICE image

    Chris, PSA 10 commons with higher pops usually will go from 20-40 bucks. PSA 10 commons with low pops are a crap shoot. They will go for anywhere from 40 to you name it ..... the star PSA 10's are much more predictable (except the #400 Nolan Ryan). If anybody ever submits that Ryan the price would be through the roof. VERY tough to find centered as there are only 24 PSA 9's I believe. Certain stars such as Pete Rose (probably triple printed) and Steve Carlton have high PSA 10 pops so those guys are going for under SMR .....

    That said - there were about a dozen 10s that sold for $10 each.
    I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    interesting, no doubt this is not the norm. Not for the last 2 years anyway. Nice deals !!

    I don't see the $10 PSA 10 sales. Perhaps the seller put them in a WRONG place and they were not seen by most ???

    Sorry - some of the others were different sports. That said - still a steal for $7.53 on Bob Boone

    WOW.... who the hell would list a Robin Yount with a 9.99 But it Now????? Crazy! even for this late 70's crap! I wish I would have seen that! That is like winning the daily pick 3 man

    That is weired. Sims originally wanted 90.00 for that Boone, ended the auction early and then listed it and it sold for 7.53.
