2006 Topps Heritage Poll: What Would You Do?
Ladies,
I want to purchase a case of 2006 Topps Heritage. Here are my options. I'd appreciate any advice / opinions based on what you've already opened:
(1) 8-box Hobby Case.
(2) 8 box Retail Case (states that they are the 3 rows of 8 packs variety), plus about a $45 savings over the hobby case which could be used to buy needed cards.
(3) 24 of the 8-pack retail "blister boxes", again about a $45 savings over the hobby case.
(4) Wait a month or so, and the prices will go down some.
Thanks in advance,
Tom (detroitfan2)

Believe me Mike, it's a term of affection.
PS The funny thing is I bought 4 hobby boxes, 2 retail boxes, and 1 blaster. I wish I would follow my own advice

OK Tom
First, it's late to pick up cases - not sure what the price will be.
The price of product will not drop on Heritage - it only goes up, then levels off and stays at that price.
I have never tried to buy last years products but I doubt if you can find a bargain.
In my town, hobby boxes are up to 80 bucks.
I would recommend the retail blisters since they have a "builtin" bargain component.
If you can still get a good price on a case - I would jump on it.
Retail is IMO the way to go.

<< <i>D: wait 3 months, buy the master set, save about $250 compared to case prices, buy the chrome set for around $150-$175, and pick up GU/Autos to your hearts content. If you buya case, your getting an auto (most likely a Topps Legends, lol) and about 24 chromes, 8 refractors and a black refractor. Take a wild guess what's a better choice.

If ya want OC nasty base cards with a ding here and there then yeah, buy the master set off e-bay!

I had this feeling when his Uncle sounded weird that something was gonna happen.
I thought - would they let a senile guy have a gun in the house?
And Bam! Bada bing! Tony is down!
