As much as I hate the golden arches, I swallowed my pride and thought I would try the new spicy chicken sandwich.Well I was running late for school(yup going back again to try and finish that degree in Quality Engineering)..just gets harder as you get older..lol

Well anyways I decided to get the value menu as I knew I would not get out of class until 8pm and it was now 1 pm..so I tell the guy give me the value meal and a diet coke(kills me evtime)..and he says "your total will be 4.76...ok I got a 5 and my little simple mind is saying " do I GIVE him 5.01 to get a quarter back or go for the change...I decide to go for the change"....

I get up to the window and hand him the 5 and a second later he asks me .yup you guessed it.."you wouldn't happen to have a penny would u?"......so now im all flustered as my little plan goes down the toilet...and I begrudgingly hand him a penny...

so now im getting my quarter regardless of all the planning I did....well you know how the drive thrus have the little money collector for the MC D house...I was gonna just toss that mad quarter in there...I swear I was!..

I stick out my hand and get my quarter...pull it in to look and see if it is a new state quarter and which one....And WHOA wait a minute..Ha you gotta be kidding me...its a Silver 1963 quarter...not a killer but a keeper..and its mine all mine..

The drive thru operator says "have a nice day" ..and I Replied you just made my day....and he looks at me a little puzzled..lol

So all my planning for the 24cents I would of got back came back and rewarded me for adding a penny...

Now I just have to make sure the kids dont get it out of the center console(still in there!)..and use it in a bubble gum machine!...or the wife use it at work in the coffee machine...matter of fact im going to go get it right now.....

Just thought I would share it with ya all...
putting together a MS 60 and up Morgan set....60% complete...otlher 40% probably take the rest of the decade!

    I remembered the days I worked at Burger King... like 30 days total... lol. I found about $2 in silver change in those 30 days working.

    I almost asked for $100 in halves today at the bank. Whats a 40% half worth at melt?? 90% at melt??
