Determining the value to put on subs.

How do you determine the value to put on a sub? Say you're sending in Card X.

Card X has a Beckett book of $50
SMR of a PSA 6 is $15. SMR of a PSA 9 is $100
You bought it off the bay for $10

You think you're card is an 8 but it could be a 7 could be a 9. What value do you put on the form? Replacement value? Any ideas?

    I put the amount I want insurance to cover in case something happens to it.

    I would say that if Card X = Sub Grade B, then the random integer of 89 would far exceed scenario F, would could really get you up a Creek. Beware of vacancy 6, normally substituted for scan A, but carries less value than plan G. If that happens, I'd declare a value of $10.
