Is today the day we get to upload a new avatar?

And if so, can anyone here tell me how to do it? I know I'm technologically challenged.....

Should be, I guess Carol will announce something

Go to your profile page and if "upload" is open there will be an upload option button.

go to your profile, when we have the green light up upload you'll see a new option where you can specify your local file to upload. I think you're limited to 100x100 or 80x80 or something similiar.

I forget the exact steps to upload, I think you just have to indicate a file and the name is implied ( I think I remember it being a bit kludgie, but not impossible to work with the first time)

the only time you run into trouble is if the file name you chose is the same as one that exists in their file. MAKE SURE , your photo name is unique.

Dan, the pic size must be 100x100 pixels AND 10.00k (or smaller) in size. Use the "Save For Web" feature on Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to get it down to the 10k requirement.
