Pope Pattern

Does anyone here collect patterns? I don't know too much about this one. It appears to have been struck in 1970 to commemorate the visit of Pope Paul VI to the Philippines between November 27-29th. It is in choice uncirculated condition with a somewhat lustrous red-brown patina and some ugly black spots and partial fingerprints. It is crown sized and quite heavy (maybe 1oz). Copper/bronze?

Don't know much about the piece but there was an assassination attempt made on Pope Paul VI when he visited the Philippines.

And Imelda Marcos suppossedly protected him by getting in the way to ward off the attack and she got cut in the arm in the process.

It is not listed in the Kraus "Unusual World Coins".....
