Anyone watching the price of the Red Flag Enamel Silver CA Proof coins? Sold Out and now pushing 399

Do you expect these will continue to rise in price? They were $83.00US at the RC Mint prior to sell out. (mintage was 5000) Think these will continue to rise in price? Some say they will go to $500.00.

Just curious ...........................???????

I would not be surprised at all if they reached $500. This one sold for $485.

It's a lower mintage thatn the Queen Mum $1 a couple of years ago. They also sold out quick.

I think the RCM has taken limited mintages too far. 5000 pcs were sold out before I was able to log on to their site.

That $485 was actually for two silver dollars.

Even 242.50 is a good clip for a mint issue @ $83.00 US (300%) I would say thats a nice profit margin.

Can't speak for other markets, but in Australia current releases often sell out quickly followed by a feeding frenzy then a collapse to bullion price.

Its the time that varies, it can be 6 weeks it can be 6 years but it nearly always happens.
