    First 10?

    It was senior year of high school - her name was Joan Fontana - not only did she have a fantastic tan but blond hair - that's all could see was her sexy blond hair - she surfed - and well - it was love at first sight!

    Senior Year was never better!!!!

    Mine was on my 5th submission. Took me a while to realize many of the cards weren't in the condition I thought they were. That was about 5-6 years ago though and I think they have slightly loosened the grading.

    I received my first 10 on my second modern submission. My first submission with modern cards contained two modern cards that came back 8's. On the second one, I think I got three 10's out of about 7 modern cards, including an 87 Fleer Bonds and an 89 Donruss Baseball's Best Sammy Sosa. This was back when both cards were pretty hot.

    1983 Topps MATT BLAIR. Special because it was from my original collection. Busted in 1983.

    Nowadays, mine, too, go to 11. It's one better.

    My first 10 was something Stone193 himself sent me in the mail .... for real, I'm not kidding. I have to say that it was not nearly as hot as HIS 10 image

    I received my first 10 on my first 6 card complimentary submission. It was a 1990 Leaf Sammy Sosa rookie. That was when they were selling for closer to $300 than $100.

    I think my first ten was on my second submission: an '83 Fleer Wade Boggs. My grades on my huge October 70's Special submission posted yesterday and I got a 10 on a 1970 Topps Royals Team card!

    10? What's a 10? In the sets I collect 10's are nonexistent. Horrors of War has had only one 10 ever graded, World in Arms has only ONE 7 ever graded with no 8's, 9's or 10's and Uncle Sam Home Defense has no 10's ever graded. I did just get my first 8 - Uncle Sam #95, 1/1 with none higher.

    Stone, sorry to let you down, but if you sent your's in for grading it would only come back a #1. There are a couple small holes that are hard to see due to the quality of your digital image. Bring your image up to an x-rating and you'll see them. image

    I had a 10 once, but had to let it go after an hour because it was a budget buster...
