K-272 THE FRENCH COERCIVE AMBASSADOR IN BAVARIA, 1920, Cast Bronze, 58.2mm,wt. 57.1g. Choice UNC.
Obverse: Emile Dard, the Ambassador the Bavarians didn’t want but the French forced them into, arrives in Munich in 1920. He hands his credentials over to Minister-president Gustav von Kahr but is not welcomed.
Inscription reads: “The French envoy forced onto the State, Emile Dard, in Bavaria.
Reverse: The Gallic coq tries to flatter the Bavarian lion who holds a plaque inscribed ‘Firm in Faith’. Dated July 1920. K G in exergue.

I like the depiction of the persons on that medal very much, especially Kahr's "Get lost" look on Dard.
