  • The card advertised already sold, but there's another one for sale. It's on Naxcom at http://www.naxcom.com/book.do?bookID=369993

That Mantle this guy is pimping is mine. He wanted 10% to sell a card that I can sell myself. Please ignore his posts. The Mantle will be going on ebay soon. I had it at $1959 and then $1850. I checked on ebay and it goes for over $2K, so that is where it's going.

  • Thats False... he can't say that about me. There's a lot of the same cards on naxcom. I wasn't trying to sell someone elses card. He doesn't know me. I am a good guy, and I only sell what's mine. I built my business on honesty and integrity. I can give you a whole list of satisfied customers.
  • To OP.

Then provide a picture and certification number. Do you realize how fishy this looks?

This is a wonderful card of the Mick! I''m a BBC dealer and have a big
customer base. I''ve got a bunch of buyers interested in your card. If
I refer my buyers to you on naxcom, will you pay me 10% of the sale?
This will be "on site," and naxcom will handle the transaction. If you
will, I will bring you more business. Let me know.

    -------------
Here is the email I received on 9/13, when I still had it at $1959 on Naxcom. I recently took it off because it attracted a lot of emails from people trying to small time me.

I'm not saying you are a bad guy, I have no idea. I'm sure you have many satisfied customers. I just don't like it when other people try to sell my cards without my permission.
    Mike
  • Sir, with all due respect, I thought I was offering you a service by asking your permision through email. I'm sorry if you thought I was trying to sell your card without permission. I wasn't. Forgive me, I might have made a mistake.

IMHO - Offering to sell a card for me at the same price I have listed is not a "service" worth 10% of the sales price. Ebay and Naxcom take a big enough bite out of the sales price. If you offered to sell it for me for more than I have listed, then that would be worth 10%.

Posting a message on a board is not a service. Good luck in your future business.

    NickM,

Am I missing something on that link, how does this relate to mrbaseballcard?

After reading these posts, I changed my mind. David - You are not a nice person. You are a leech. You want to make money off people like me after we do all of the work - buying the card, grading it, and listing it.

  • After reading these posts, I changed my mind ndleo. Your icon of Chris Griffen's evil monkey is by far the best on these boards.

Thanks. I can't take credit for uploading it. Family Guy is one of the best shows on TV.

  • Since this thread isn't really going anywhere anyways...

Yeah, I agree. One of the best shows on TV, although tonight's episode was a bit of a let down. The Petarded episode earlier this season is still the best of the new ones, in my opinion. Stewie playing Marco Polo with Helen Keller last week had me laughing out loud.
