Busting Slabs . . .

I've discovered gardening pruners are highly effective tools, as well, for the diagonal corner cut!

WARNING: Safety goggles highly recommended.

I got a great pair of pliers with cutting edge at the joint. Take off the corner, small screwdriver inside and PRESTO!

I have found a very slim plain head screwdriver and some quick wrist action to be effective.

A cinder block dropped from a height of 4 feet does a job of busting the slab quite completely.

I always just dinged the top corner off with a standard hammer and pulled the slab slowly apart. Works perfectly.
