IT'S ON!!!

I was just telling stingray a few days ago that maybe next year I'll start my 1965 Topps set graded 8 or better. Well after someone sniped a card off me with 4 seconds left in the auction, I bid on and won PSA 8 Ed Kirkpatrick #393. Now I know that its not much but you have to start somewhere right? I figure maybe I'll grab a common or two a week, then I'll be looking for someone who can help me get the big name cards. Its going to take a while to build but that is part of the fun of collecting. It will be rewarding when its done!!! R.J.

I know when I started my 75s I told myself one or two a week, now it is like 3 or 4 a week. Need to slow down for financial sakes. It is to much fun coming home to a mail box of one or two bubble mailers and ripping them open. It is like Christmas every few days.

Yeah, I know what you mean sting. I tell myself " oh 10 bucks isnt bad for that card. Problem is, I do it four times a week. $40.00 dollars a week sounds so much better than $160.00 a month.
  • Great thread. Nice to read some important info on cards to pass on to others rather than posts on shill auctions and overpaying for shipping...

Stay away from Stingray, he's a bad influence.
