Oh My Cosmic

Did you see this Wildman 1/2 penny Token auction? Vern had a bid on it . I was going to venture a $90 bid. This is far higher than I would have guessed.image

I tried to put in a bid of $456 with about 10 seconds left. Not enough to even register that close to the end.

The last one Davisson had in his mail bid auctions went for $710 so the price is not way off. It is one of the popular Conder tokens.

I'd say that's about the right going rate for this token. Mine was a little less. The Staple's example looks like a great full strike with no rub at all on the tip of the nose and no spots either. It could have gone higher if the right person saw it.

Now that example could interest me in tokens.

Look at the bid history, the high bidder was willing to go even higher.
