"If the grade doesn't fit you must resubmit"

  • hmmmmm..... Is it possible the card is trimmed? I would definetly contact PSA and try to get an explanation. You should be able to email them with the scans and get an answer.

Looks like a nice card...Good luck!

I think if it was trimmed they would have so. The submission form says "factory miscut" and they credited the grading fees

  • Dave,

On the face of it looks like someone made a mistake .... What does the card measure? Sometimes I have had PSA send back a card as being miscut when it did not meet the min size requirement... Jeff

  • left side of the card definetly appears to be trimmed...... i agree ....the grader made a mistake on the reject tag.

I compared it to a mantle and mays from the same year and if anything it is larger by a touch than the other two. Top to bottom the 3 are exactly the same. I am more confused than before.

I've had that happen before. Send it back in, another grader gets it, and it gets graded.

  • I actually just had that happen a few days ago, a returned card that was noted as miscut. It didn't look at ALL miscut to me, just looked exactly the same as all the other cards I sent in.
