Oh man ... I'm sorry, guy. Hopefully at least your wallet will be returned, even without the cash. Have you cancelled any credit cards that were in it?
I'm 14, dont have credit cards. That was all my money, and now I'm 100% bankrupt..... dont know whats gonna happen now, might have to sell everything or just work my ass off to get it back...... somehow.......
Yeah, I guess you're right........ but my one of my friends freakin LOOOOVEs to go out and eat almost every damn day of the weekend (including Fridays), with a million people at the diner, cafe, pizza, chinese, everything, and now I probably cant go as much....... ah well, whatever. I'd get fat.
yeah that bites. I carry my wallet in front right pocket along with my car keys. Left front pocket has my business cards, home keys and knife. Don't carry your wallet in your back pocket, too easy to fall out or get stolen. Tell your friends to go to McDonalds and shop off the $1 menu!
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
hehe thanks kingraider. the pair of pants i wore that day had very small (and loose) pockets, and the one with my wallet had the cell and then the wallet on top....... stupid thing to do I guess lol
gregm - Yeah, I know........ but this show i was very particular with grades and all....... i used to walk in w/ around $200 and leave with nothing, but this time was very different. I WISH i spent it all, so at least if i lost the wallet afterwards, i would still have all the cards and just a missing 16,000-ticket Dave & Busters card and a $10 wallet.
pandrews - thanks, i got into vintage from collecting too much modern stuff really. they produce way too much of this stuff, and its way too easy to come by. i like the challenge of going for a full set, getting things graded, etc...... also, i can make some cash this way so i can go out and eat w/ the pals and gals heh
Too bad about your wallet. It's probably happened to many of us at one time or another. I haven't carried money in my wallet for over 30 years. I use a money clip and carry it in my front pocket. It's great to see you collecting vintage. [I guess that makes me vintage as I was 12 in 1960!!] Are you also interested in the history of the game? There are some great books out there. Greg
Have you checked with security at the place where you think you may have lost it? Called the local PD? Sometimes people who find things like that are nicer than you might expect.
Ripken - called Wendy's, went back to Wendy's, called PD, nothing, called card show, went back to card show, searched every corner in house...... its gone, unless someone is nice enough to return it to the local PD.
