Next submission will be the most i send in. At least 23 cards for my 52 parkhurst hockey set. I'm just waiting for a 50's special !! HINT HINT !!
I'm not going to pay 12.00 dollars a card. 7-8 dollars is more reasonable. 5 would be better but i wouldn't count on that either. The longer i have to wait for a sale then the more cards i will have to get graded. After i complete my set i'm going to ask for all the cards to be taken out of there holders and have sequential numbers going up one at a time EX 90000001 90000002 90000003 90000004 etc.... I'm hoping that this will be even possible. I would love to have them on my wall all in order like that.

I would love to see that $5.00 for a 50's special. Would give me a good chance to send in alot of cards that arent nm/mt but nice cards. maybe next month.

I save up until I have at least 50 cards to send in to help absorb the cost of the postage. Most of my submissions are 50-100 cards at a time, and I'm patient that I'll wait for their special since I'm not selling them.

OK, so I'm not alone in sending in a whack load of cards. My first submission which I will be doing this month will be over 100 cards under the April special.

I will be sending in over 100 cards for my 1981/82 topps set eventually. It is over 30 percent complete already but i am having problems finding the commons in PSA 9 or PSA 10 shape. I know not to many people are collecting this set because basicly it's worthless. But i collect for the fun of it and not the resale value.
Not 100 percent sure but i think this year there was less Topps produced then there was O-PEE-CHEE. Plus it has the East and West which makes it a cooler set.

I hear you guys on that....I'm a poster child for collecting what I enjoy regardless of the value. I'm into Garbage Pail Kids. To me, the idea of getting my collection graded is fun.

20 is the most at one time. I'm still paranoid of getting the pissed off grader wrecking my entire lot...

I got the postal worker covered with insured registered mail. maybe i'm a bit paranoid, but hey... I like submitting 20 cards more frequently than hoarding them all up. I know you save a little on postage, but a few dollars on pre-war submissions really isn't my kinda worry. Now getting them to a grader on monday morning... that's another story!!

I like hoarding them. The postage combined with $5 specials, a 726 card MODERN set, saves HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of dollars in the end. With the savings, I buy more way overpriced unopened product that I just LOVE image

So if you send in hundreds of cards, they all get assigned to the same grader? That kind of reminds me of when I was a cashier in a grocery store and someone would pull up with a cart overflowing with groceries. That always made me bitter. The person was probably a decent enough individual but I hated them because they couldn't find a way to make more frequent trips to the store so as not to have to appear as though they were stocking up for Y2K. Does it really make any difference sending in a lot in multiple submissions?

Its unknown if it makes a difference. I personally think it is cheap insurance on borderline cards worth decent money.

I'm going to do my best 'dabighurt' impressioin here...

PSA graders are highly trained professionals. It will make no difference if you send in 1 or 1,000. They have graded over 8,000,000 cards and are the best for a reason. They are Jesus' son!!!

I sent in something like 137 during a five-dollar special. Even got them back in about 3 weeks.
On the other hand not a single 9, only 24 8's and several 5's that I thought were 7 s at worst.
Of course they only explain the ungradeables, never why your 8 came out a five.
