calling on German experts

which is the correct spelling: "Nurnberg?" or "Nuremburg?" Or are they two diff. cities??
I've seen both spellings

Nuremberg, but I have also seen "Nurnberg" but that was in the title of a book written by an American doctor at the Nuremberg Trials.

That's the correct German spelling by the way. Nuremberg is the English name, just like Cologne is for Köln or Munich is for München.

The German 'ü' is interchangeable with 'ue'.

I seen it spelled "Nurnberg", font probably didn't have an umlaut.
